Grand Telangana Bonalu Celebrations @ Talla Padmavathi Olympiad School

As part of the celebration, Mr. Jagadhish Sir explained the significance of Bonalu, a traditional festival of Telangana dedicated to Goddess Mahankali. He explained how the festival represents devotion, gratitude, and the cultural identity of the people of Telangana.
He also spoke about the importance of understanding our festivals not only through tradition but also through their social, cultural, and scientific significance.

Students learned that turmeric has been traditionally valued for its natural antimicrobial and antiseptic properties and has been used in Indian households and cultural practices for generations.
